No matter what, we are Creative Together making our songs, art works and dances…Take a look! Creative Together is a series of collaborative workshops exploring dance, song and art together. Presented in Kogarah in Sydney, it is a community initiative bringing together Art for Parkinson’s, Dance for Parkinson’s and local musicians such as the Human Sound Project. This film captures the essence of the collaboration. Thank you to the fantastic teaching artists Natasha Cesco and Beatriz Occhiuzzi, Parkinson’s NSW, the Mazda Foundation and Georges River Council for your support and to all of the participants for sharing your creativity and community.
World Dance for Parkinson’s Day is a global collaboration organized among a diverse group of partners. We are a group of dance organizations and individual teaching artists who deliver specialized classes for people with Parkinson’s. We want this platform to offer a window into our work as we celebrate the range of programming, research collaborations and community initiatives and engagements that form the heart of what we do. Starting in April, 2018, we invite you to explore inspiring classes, probing documentaries and diverse program profiles from Australia, Canada, the Netherlands, France, Portugal, Israel, India, England, Malta, Scotland, South Africa, South Korea, and the United States–all in honor of Parkinson’s Awareness Month and International Dance Day.
